Partial Regularity for Flows of H-surfaces
This article studies regularity of weak solutions to the heat equation for H{ surfaces. Under the assumption that the function H is Lipschitz and depends only on the rst two components, the solution has regularity on its domain, except for a set of measure zero. Moreover, if the solution satisses certain energy inequality, this set is nite.
متن کاملLaplacian Flow for Closed G2-structures: Short Time Behavior
We prove short time existence and uniqueness of solutions to the Laplacian flow for closed G2 structures on a compact manifold M . The result was claimed in [2], but its proof has never appeared.
متن کاملRegularity of the Density of Surface States
We prove that the integrated density of surface states of continuous or discrete Anderson-type random Schrödinger operators is a measurable locally integrable function rather than a signed measure or a distribution. This generalize our recent results on the existence of the integrated density of surface states in the continuous case and those of A. Chahrour in the discrete case. The proof uses ...
متن کاملReal-time High-fidelity Surface Flow Simulation.
Surface flow phenomena, such as rain water flowing down a tree trunk and progressive water front in a shower room, are common in real life. However, compared with the 3D spatial fluid flow, these surface flow problems have been much less studied in the graphics community. To tackle this research gap, we present an efficient, robust and high-fidelity simulation approach based on the shallow-wate...
